Since the collapse of the financial markets in 2008, banking and the markets has been in the news a lot. Without wanting to come across as patronising, it’s an incredibly complex industry and in short, a lot of people don’t understand it. Hell, I’ve worked in the financial industry since 2000 and I don’t understand a lot of it.
